Cherry Master Slot Machines

Many feel that it is a waste of time and money to keep debating over the idea that Cherry Masters slot machines should be legalized. The slot machines are everywhere, and those that own them are making money hand over fist, so why not legalize them and regulate them and then the state will get their fair share? The slot machine revenue could go far.

Lawmakers constantly haggle over the subject of whether or not to legalize the slot machines. Last week they were trying to decide as to whether or not to legalize the slot machines at Hoosier Park and Indiana Downs. Rep. Terri Austin wants to legalize the slot machines through House Bill 1440, and she already has other reps jumping on board to support the bill. The slot machine bill would take $0.32 of every dollar, which comes out to an estimated $150 million. That money would go toward paying for full-day kindergarten.

If the bill passes, there will be millions upon millions of dollars in slot machine revenue waiting for the taking. The governor says he doesn’t want to expand slot machines or gambling in the state, but many say why not? They think that if you already have slot machines, what are a few thousand more? The video gambling machines would bring in an estimated $200 million for the state, in addition to the millions they are already bringing in through the other slot machines.
