Slot Machines
Las
Vegas Gaming has been slowly inserting
themselves into the slot machine market
by bringing in some of the best
executives they could find, and
releasing amazing technologies. The
company has been in business since 19998
and has slowly grown in the slot machine
arena ever since. They have had roulette
games and keno games, as well as bingo
machines.
In
2001, the company released Nevada
Numbers which was a linked progressive
keno game, but it did not do as well as
expected. It only ended up bringing in
roughly one percent of the casino’s
revenue – as opposed to the 85% coming
in from the slot machines. With their
new PortalVision software, they believe
that they have a way to bring in even
more money from the slot machines.
They
are also planning on making an IPO
(initial public offering) and investors
are going to want to put money on it.
The company has been doing so well with
their slot machine technology, there
really is no way an IPO could fail. If
the company continues progressing the
way it has, with more emphasis on
creating bigger and better slot
machines, and less on the other games
like keno – they are expected to get
much bigger and become a much larger
driving force in the industry.
